This exceptional white wine is made from Chardonnay grapes grown on the shallow clay and limestone soils of Chânes in the Mâconnais. The vines are 55 years old. This Saint-Véran has a pale, luminous colour. On the nose, notes of pear, white peach and wild flowers enchant, while the palate offers a lively attack followed by a balanced structure and a refined finish with delicate bitters. This wine embodies the elegance and authenticity of the great wines of Burgundy.
